PLAIN VIEW HERITAGE FARM,

RURAL BRYANT, SD, PRESENTS:

Nephew Darrell Ginther's Remarks

On Russel & Be's 50th Wedding Anniverary,

May 8, 1943-May 8, 1993

Remarks are written by Darrell on a page made up especially for the 50th Anniversary couple by Mim Rinderknecht with questions that came with fill-in lines beneath each one. She sent the page out to loved ones ahead of time, so they could be gathered together in a book at the next Reunion on Plain View Farm. This must have been part of the celebration on PVF, but the pages that were filled out were no doubt taken by Bernice to Russel to view, who did not attend the Reunion, though Bernice did. We are glad we have this one page at least as an example to share with everyone now. It always makes me think and wonder, if someone hadn't done this, what would we have in its place? Nothing? How very thoughtful of Mim Rinderknecht to have done this for her esteemed and beloved aunt and uncle! But now we all reap the benefit of her thoughtfulness and love, in this addition to our heritage! --Ed.

RUSS & BE,

50 YEARS!

May 8, 1943-May 8, 1993

ON YOUR ANNIVERSARY TOGETHER

AFTER FIFTY YEARS...ONE THING I WANT TO COMMEND YOU TWO FOR IS...

...your love and witness to people no matter what religion they belong to, for missions; your dedication to the Lord's work, and His perfect will being done.

THE SCRIPTURE PROMISE OR THOUGHT I'VE CHOSEN FOR YOU TWO IS...

"He that winneth souls is wise and shall shine as the stars forever and ever."--Isaiah 26:3; [Another verse Darrell knew from memory:] "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee because he trusteth in thee."

HERE'S A MEMORY, STORY, OR THOUGHT, AND/OR PICTURE I'D LIKE TO SHARE!

My memory of you both is this: the kindness and love you both shared with me when you invited me to visit you one time. Taking me to the Hearst castle. [Then] Uncle Russel took me in his car one day, when I was there in Atascadero and drove by a Mormon household and Jehovah Witness households. He told me of witnessing to those folks and that they had accepted Christ.

Also, Uncle Russ & Aunt Be's happy jokes made me laugh and have fun!

LOVE, Nephew Darrell Ginther
