The Promise of God's Rainbow is His Covenant With Us, & It is Everlasting and Forward-Going

The Stadem Vision, With Pictures

Part I:

Our Vision for the Future--Some Physical Specifics for the PRACTICAL-MINDED STADEM DESCENDANT:

The Plain View Heritage Farm Motto:

"That His Light Shine Through Our Heritage: To God Be The Glory!"

In a nutshell, that is our guiding statement of faith and practice. Jesus, as the Word says, is the Light, and He is the Word of God. Showing forth him alone, we are shining as the Light in the dark world. It is all attainable--practically.

Five Goals:

(1) A beautiful, productive, praiseworthy PVF (vegetable gardens, fruit and shade trees, walkways (gravel mostly to cover dirt and mud, and some of cement for the handicapped to reach the buildings safely), grass and flowers, with sports and also hunting/fishing available).

(2) a PVF that is Christ-Centered, with a ministry center for the Gospel (even studio & theater using our pioneer, Scandinavian heritage, crafts, arts, Sacred and Norwegian folk dance, and Sacred, Classical, and Gospel music), with a chapel and daily, on-going Prayer and Devotions times,

(3) Used year-round, something always going on to benefit people and serve God's interests, for His glory (this includes giving to the poor and needy food, clothing, children's toys, used but good appliances, and helps of all kinds as the Lord provides and directs).

(4) the godly, Bible-based facility and behavior of people on PVF serving as a living foil and positive alternative to 21st century America's "juggernaut" of a predominant, aggressive secular/humanist culture that taken over the main centers of power and cultural influence and has categorically abandoned the God of the Bible and its teachings and caters to the autonomous self, the individual ego, and to every form

of self-centered indulgence, no matter how self-destructive and society-destructive such ways have already proven to be.

(5) always a Haven of Peace, a Refuge of Safety, for restoration and giving battered, broken souls and lives a nurturing, healing embracing family environment, to help them heal and be made whole, healthly, and forward going in attitude again. The Gospel and the Word of God will be the motivation and Operating Values at the core of everything. As a safeguard for such an environment: Not a dress code as such, but showing restraint and modesty in hair style, with the body respected as God created it, as opposed to body ornamenting--piercing, tattooing, extreme coloring or bleaching with industrial coloring agents harmful to hair as God created [Only God has the right to write holy names upon our bodies, which he will do on the Overcomers--see Re. 3:12]. Restraint and holy modesty in clothes, which the popular culture of the world knows nothing about anymore, and careful to practice clean speech, civility, and good manners, which are generally neglected in the popular culture which says, "Take me as I choose to be and act, with no regard for others"; in all things seeking not to offend others by taking freedoms in extreme dress and body appearance and behavior and speech and entertainment (music, movies, etc.) that to some believers give an appearance of evil and, if weak in faith, may actually cause them to "stumble" or misstep in their Christian walk.

There is, indeed, some good practical wisdom in the old saying, "When in Rome do as the Romans do." We, therefore, need to set the pure and holy Biblical example in dress, body, behavior, entertainments, and manners for others to follow. To do otherwise (indulge our carnal appetites and carnal selfishness) opens the floodgates into the Plain View Farm environment from the toxic, unBiblical society at large that knows and sanctions no restraints at all and absolutely encourages beastliness in human beings.

Some practical things and activities that can also make PVF what our Ancestors and also Grandparents and Parents exemplified for generations, and would want us to engage in:

(1) a Holy Convocation called and convened yearly (relatives mainly, but also godly Christian friends of the same mind for seeking God's glory), to pray and seek God's will and working in us for the future of this vision (God's plan).

(2) Return of the Svanoes and also Stadems to Norway, on a tour for singing of Gospel, Sacred and Classical pieces. (3) always ready to serve and provide loving, generous and non-judgmental, ungrudging hospitality to guests and strangers and the needy;

(4) Perhaps the most vital endeavor, containing the heart and soul and spirit, through the documents and artifacts of our Heritage: easily accessed by an interactive media center, with laptops, TV, video library, book library preserving the Norwegian language items and related heritage books and papers, audio-visual library for our heritage archives, including a videotaper for TV programs we can then make on the Farm and submit to various venues.

Tables and materials should also be available for doing various heritage projects.

Some things that can be done to enhance the already lovely and unspoiled PVF praire-farm environment:

(1) Gardening, tree planting, landscaping that will enhance the farm setting, preserving the superb beauty God created, while adding to it without cluttering it.

(2) Old farm wagon for group pictures, other implements on display various places.

(4) Some farm animals brought to reunions for the children to enjoy and learn from,

(5) sound system in the Heritage Center for concerts, and Christian drama productions and heritage speaking and Gospel preaching events

(6) the creation of a small chapel out of the Heritage House, as one place out of the weather for prayer, devotions, and Bible study.

(7) a sod house replica set in a slope on the grounds, and the sods may be sod-like brick, not the actual earth, so as to make the sod house a lot more healthy and less open to invasions of "critters"--woodchucks, bugs, snakes, etc.

(8) a sleigh and horse for Christmas carolling

(9) a yearly, joyous Christmas season and all its events on the Farm

(10) wood stoves for heating cheaply, and a sauna, and a clawfoot tub. Wood stoves fitted to water tanks could also heat water for bathing and kitchen use. During the warmer months, water could be heated by installing outside water tanks, and let solar energy heat water. Solar panels could also be used to supplement electricity usage.

(11) glass display cases for the more fragile heritage items, and other items displayed on walls or set about from Pearl Ginther's collections of heritage.

12. Pearl Ginther also expressed that she wanted the windmill back on PVF. She had some notable experiences as a young girl stopping the runaway windmill before it was ruined. You can read about it in one of her exciting stories. The old windmill stood close by the south end of the Basement Barn, with a tank for watering the livestock. Steve Stadem saved some parts from the old windmill, but there are windmills standing abandoned in many a field today, on farms that no longer need them, so we could probably get a windmill free simply for the asking and for the effort of removing it and erecting it on Plain View Farm.

Part II:

Our Vision for the Future--the Scriptures Support

Jeremiah 6:16: This is what the LORD says:

"Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls."

Psalm 103: 12: As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

A UNIVERSAL WAR: (1) There are two kingdoms at war on the earth: God's Eternal Kingdom, and Satan's passing one. Scriptures say: We are in the world, but not of it. This world is not our own--it is a fallen, sin-stained world. As Father Abraham did, and all saints afterwards, we live as pilgrims, with a light hold on things of this world, and look to a better world, in the Kingdom of God established fully on earth, where the will of God is done even as it is done in heaven (Christ's Prayer).

Christ indeed will come again, soon, to establish his Reign of 1,000 years, according to the Book of Revelation. Little, much maligned, much threatened Israel will be raised up to the forefront of nations. All nations will be blessed in her and the Chosen People, the Jews, the Scriptures promise. The reverse is true too: All nations and people who have cursed Israel and sought her destruction over the ages, will be turned away, and not have a part in this new coming world order of peace and justice and great blessing for all. Therefore, we must not raise our hand against Israel in any way, but bless her even while she has her imperfections and is yet unaware her glorious Messiah has come. They looked for a King and missed him as Servant, but they will see him come again as King, and not miss him a second time.

The Jews are not replaced by the Church in God's Master Plan (as Paul taught the early Churches). The Jews will have their greatly enlarged and glorious nation, which will be the head of all nations on earth, and Christ will rule from Jerusalem from David's throne, but the Church of Jesus Christ will reign with Christ in the coming Kingdom while not being citizens of it. There is no rivalry with the Jewish people, Christ has provision beyond description for both Church and the Jewish People & Nation. This is the New Covenant that Jeremiah first delineated, which was further defined in the New Testament, an everlasting Covenant God ratified with his shed blood that does not recognize divisions based on gender and race or social status, as we are regarded by God as being One New Man.

We have this privilege as believers in Him (whether Gentile or Jewish), saved by His shed blood and forgiven of our sins, made sons and daughters of God our Father in Heaven, fully pardoned in His holy eyes, due to the substitutionary death-payment by His Son on our behalf, as we were sinners condemned to death and destruction, unable to make amends with God with our own good works, as we were yet His enemies while He suffered on the Cross and died in payment for our sins, redeeming all those who take the free gift of his salvation and walk in God's ways.

As the Church we believe we can live free in enemy territory, where Christ's reign is not yet complete. We need not be overcome by the satanic world system that leads away from God, but we can overcome this system and be fruitful for God's kingdom and the salvation of souls among the unbelieving.

Christ has already triumphed over the enemy, when he completed his salvation, expiatory work on the Cross--we can live and walk in Christ's victory, not be defeated by the enemy. To do this Christ has empowered us, by sending the Holy Spirit to gift us, lead us, and empower us to spread abroad the things of Christ given him to impart to us.

We have a marvelous future of unending blessing ahead of us as the Church of Jesus Christ, and we can now share in much of that future blessing and impart it to our generation, beginning with the sharing and preaching of the Gospel in all the ways given us.

Isaiah the prophet of divine judgment on rebellion and glorious restoration of God's people foretold this time: "Behold the LORD has proclaimed unto the end of the world [which is the Gentile nations' ground], Say yet to the daughter of Zion, Behold thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. And they shall call them The Holy People; and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken."--Isaiah 62: 11, 12.

Unlike the Jews, the Church of Jesus Christ, the Holy People who walk in God's holy light, does not have or possess a nation-state with land territory assigned to it; we have a spiritual estate assigned us as heirs of Christ. To take possession of our promised spiritual estate, we must do battle, it is not handed us on a platter. It is a matter of life and death. Caleb and Joshua had to fight, not just spiritually but physically, to gain their respective promised inheritances in the Promised Land--both starting at the age of 80! WE do not have to fight physically, but we do have to wage an intense spiritual battle.

with Thompson's System of Bible Study):

1. An inward Battle--Ro. 7:23. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

2. Spiritual Weapons--2 Co. 10:4. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God tot he pulling down of strong holds.

3. Invisible Foes--Ep. 6:12. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places [we do not fight people, we fight spiritual wickedness and the demonic forces of it--Ed.]

4. Young [Middle-aged and Old!] Soldiers Enlisted--I Ti. 1:18. This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;

A Fight of Faith--1 Ti. 6:12. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Demands Entire Consecration--2 Ti. 2,4. No man that warreth entangeleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who has chosen him to be a soldier (Heb. 10:32, Rev. 12:17)[This verse was used to exhort the Vision-bearer not to get entangled with lesser goods, in pursuing this Vision through to realization, as the great Bible expositor Oswald Chambers once said: "The good is the enemy of the best!"--Ed.]

Ps. 86:14. O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them.[God's holy people will find they have enemies that will try to stop them from serving the Lord, and publicly, they will seek to stifle all those who believed in righteousness from making their voice heard against evil being done in their communities and nation--Ed.] (Ps. 94:21)

Je. 2:34. Also in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents; I have not found it by secret search, but upon all these. [A great sin, the blood of 51 millions of unborn has polluted our whole country of America--that is how the God of the Bible views it, even while officials, top to low, heartily commend this lucrative industry of "abortion," which is infanticide, compounded to a program of mass genocide against humanity's innocents. Shall we not be held accountable by their Creator? He numbers the very hairs of our head, can He not know each child that is slain in the womb for largely profit, not to preserve the life of the mother? Even the children conceived by rape are God's children, not to be wantonly murdered and cast away--should the innocent victims, the children, be punished and murdered because of what a criminal has perpetrated? God forbid!--Ed.]

Je. 18:20. Shall evil be recompensed for good? for they have digged a pit for my soul. Remember that I stood before thee to speak good for them, and to turn thy wrath from them [those of us of the Stadem Relationship who have voted justly and stood against genocide and murder of the innocents for profit, God will surely mark us out from this evil generation when destruction comes upon it.--Ed.]

Eze. 22:25. There is a conspiracy of the prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made many widows in the midst thereof.[many wicked people in places of authority and power today in high places --"prophets"--, both in the government and heads of agencies and organizations and even worldly churches and POLITICALLY MOTIVATED national/international bodies of allied churches and denominations like the World Council of Churches and the National Council of Churches, all constituting "roaring lions" that devour men's souls, have approved and vigorously promoted what is most vile and rebellious against God, persecuting and speaking evil of the righteous for opposing their anti-God and moralty policies; the unjust, godless governance of the Federal Government also forces taxes from the righteous despite their protests to fund such abhorrent, unbiblical policies and programs, which truly are "works of darkness". While doing these wicked things, they seek to force Christians away from the Bible and marginalize and silence them as far as they are able, profiling and branding Christians with labels of bigotry, hate-crimes, and regressive Anti-socials. All this is done according to a Congress-defined religion, Humanism, the currently ruling "progressive" secular humanism, which demands universal, national and global compliance to its cardinal doctrines of Diversity (Diversity without Christians), Multiculturalism (inclusive in terminlogy but practicing the rigorous exclusion of the Judaaeo-Christian civilization and culture of Christians), and Tolerance (tolerance of everything and everybody, except Bible-based, holy-living Christians).

Evenso, we are reminded by both Biblical and Church history that these evil forces, under other names, have afflicted the people of God innumerable times in the past, yet the Church of Jesus Christ survived all of them, even flourished in persecution of the most murderous and cruel kinds, and that assures us in this era that we shall not be overcome but will prevail even against the severe challenges we face today.--Ed.]

Lu. 22:31. And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, to sift you like wheat.[the chief enemy or adversary of our souls, Satan, who is the prince of this fallen world and its soul-destroying system.--Ed.]

I Pe. 5:8. Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

2 Co. 10:4. For the weapons of our wearfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.

Ep. 6:17. And take the helmet of salvaiton, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

He. 4:12. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Re. 12:11. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto death.

Ro. 13:12. The night is far spent, the day is at hand; let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put ont he armour of light. 2 Co. By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left.

Ep. 6:11. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

1 Th. 5:8. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.

2 Chr.16:9. For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in their behalf.

Ps. 34:7. The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. (Ps. 41:2)

Ps. 91:4. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust; his truth shalt be thy shield and buckler.

Ps. 125:2. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem,so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

Zec. 2:5. For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her [we will need this, and see this, as the times darken, as they must darken, and we are beset on all sides by the darkness that has engulfed not only America but the whole world.--Ed.] Lu. 21:18. But there shall not a hair of your head perish [that he does not know about--Ed.].

2 K. 6:17. And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

Ezr. 8:31. Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem; and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy,a nd of such as lay in wait by the way.

2 Chr. 32:8. With him is an arm of flesh; but with us in the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah (Ne. 4:20; Ps. 24:8; Zec. 14:3)

Over Evil Influences of Men

[Made in the image of God, inhabited by the Holy Spirit and Christ, how can we mark our bodies carelessly lest we defile the temple of God? For this reason, and no more is needed, we must respect and not mistreat our temples in any way, leastwise tattoo and pierce them for carnal vanity's sake. And since we are one body in Christ, how can we as members disfigure ourselves, as what we do to our bodies disfigures the whole body.--Ed.]

Re. 3:21. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. (Re. 12:11)

An Eternal Inheritance

Re. 21:7. He that overcometh shall inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

To enter into the victory and triumph, with all the blessing God has promised us, things we must strive for are:

(1) Unity in Believers in Christ;

Strife being the opposite, we ALWAYS strive for Unity in Christ.

Ro. 12.5. So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

I Co. 10.17. For we being many are one bread, and one body; for we are all partakers of that one bread. (I Co. 12:12)

Exhortations to Unity

1 Co. 1:10. Now I beseech you, brethren, bhy the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined togethr in the same mind and in the same judgment.

2 Co. 13:11. Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

(3) AND THE BELIEVER'S WALK: [living the (a) BEATITUDES, (b)bearing the Fruit of the Spirit, Exercising the Gifts of the Spirit, in order to dispense the Water of Life to the thirsting and fainting; (c)following and preaching and exhorting all to believe and to live in accordance with the Word of God].

Characteristics of the Believer's Walk

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death; that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Ro. 8:1)

Before God

Ge. 17:1, I K. 2:4, 2K.20;3, Ps. 56:13, ll6:9

Walking in Truth Ps. 26:3, 86:11, 2 Jn. 4, 3 Jn. 3

(a) Beatitudes

[Portrayed as "Spiritual Mountain Climbing," is is more like "Humble Descending to the Lower Seat at the Table," as "He must increase, but I must decrease," said John the Baptist concerning himself and Christ; for the more we decrease, the more Christ increases in us, and the Beatitudes confirm this basic truth of the kingdom life.].

Initial Step Down, Humility

Mt. 5:3. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Penitence (Mourning)

Mt. 5:4. Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Meekness (Marking the birth of a New Spirit)

Mt. 5:5. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

Spiritual Appetite (Signifying Growth)

Mt. 5:6. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled.

Mercifulness (an Attribute of God). Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

Heart purity

Marking where comes the vision of God

Mt. 5:8. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Mt. 5:9. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.

Suffering for Christ,

Standing beside Prophets and Martyrs

Mt. 5:10. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

ll. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

(b)Fruits of the Spirit, and also Graces

Ga. 5:22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness,

23. temperance, against such there is no law.

Ro. 5.:3. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations, also, knowing that tribulation worketh patience,

4. and patience, experience; and experience, hope.

2 Co. 5:6. By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,

2 Co. 8:7. Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.

2 Pe. 1:5. And besides this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue, knowledge;

6. And to knowledge, temperance; and to temperance, patience, and to patience, godliness;

7. And to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, charity.

Charity (LOVE)

[this is given here knowing full well we all as Christians know this passage too familiarly, and not experientially, while regarding the truth of it, we are not altogether living it out--but yet it is our admonition the Lord, which we must soberly take to heart and allow the Lord to make a reality in our lives and walk. As noted in the Thompson Bible heading for this chapter: "All gifts, however excellent, are nothing without charity (love)".--Ed.]

I Co. 13. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity,I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I amnothing.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing [a sad case of a veteran, frustrated with the President or the Veterans Administration or both, burned himself to death a few years ago, publicly, as an act of protest, but his cruel, self-inflicted death profited him nothing; likewise, more lately, a frustrated small tradesman in the oppressive Moslem society of Tunisia, burned himself to death as a protest against an unjust government official's action against him, inciting riots against the government causing more deaths, all in vain.--Ed.].

Charity suffereth long, and is kind, charity envieth not, charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil,

rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Charity never faileth, but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

...And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three, but the greatest of these is charity.

(c) Gifts of the Spirit

[If I Co. 13 is observed first and foremost, there would not be divisions caused or the wrong use or selfish or prideful seeking of advancement through the Gifts, but they would be properly used for the edification of the whole Body of Christ, and yet we have seen people turn away from the Gifts, due to the behavior of some, thus missing a Blessing they could have had; some pastors even forbid the Gifts, or the exercise of them, citing the cases of when they were wrongly displayed; thus is the Spirit of God grieved and quenched. After listing certain problems of performance and how to deal with them, so as to hold foremost the aim of edifying the body of Christ, Paul concludes: "Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues."--I co. 14;39. I shall give here what I have either witnessed or exerienced, however.--Ed.]

The Gifts of the Holy Spirit

1. Speaking in Tongues (Private for a person's own edification and strengthening),

2. Speaking in a Tongue (Publicly in a Church) for Interpretation (by someone else, usually for the edification of a Church body),

3. Prophesying (for an individual, by another speaking prophetically to him or her for direction, strengthening, or exhortation), and publicly, for a church congregation, for exhortation, for future events telling, for edification and strengthening of faith, for comfort),

4. Healing (by an individual believer for an individual believer who is sick, which has happened to me rather numerous times, even to the saving of my life),

5. Helps (seen evidenced life-long by my mother, and a brother, truly a ministry of humble service in all kinds of ways, even giving of encouragement, not exclusively physical and material ways to the needy, and it can be the free and loving giving of food, housing or shelter as well, or the clothing of the naked, or the making of coats and quilts for those suffering the cold, or the making of meals for the shut-in, or taking them to needed services, etc.

6. Miracles (I have seen many miracles, too numerous to mention here),

7. Apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers (to be continued)

8. Word of Knowledge,

9. Wisdom,

(to be continued)

(d) Dispensing the Water of Life Freely

General References in the Bible

Song 4:15; Is. 49:10, 55:1; Je. 17:13

Issuing from God's House

[These verses ought to be of considerable interest and importance to the Stadem Descendants, who come from a marginally watered acreage, Plain View Farm, that was always notably poor in water resources a lot of years, though the scion, Alfred Stadem, was a man who to earn some supplemental income was a water borer for the community's farmers on their properties and found many springs and bore many wells for them. Why was that? Will God yet unleash a fountain on this dry land, from out of our flinty stone? God is able to provide a sparkling, abundant Fountain of the Water of Life in the arrid wilderness for the blessing of the thirsty, just as He promises in the following verses the river that will one day flow forth from the presently and anciently arrid, river-less Holy City!--Ed.]

Eze. 47:1. Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward; for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar. (Jl. 3:18)

Unaffected by Time and Season

Zec. 14:8. And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem, half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea; in summer and winter shall it be.

Christ the Source of

Jn. 4:10. Jesus answered and said unto her,If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink, thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

Satisfies the Deepest Needs

Jn. 7:37. In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. The Supply Inexhaustible

Re. 7:17. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters, and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. [This indeed portrays a ministry of the coming Plain View Farm Heritage Center and Farm, the ministry of healing, forgiveness, reconcilation, restoration].

Makes Life Fruitful

Re. 22:1. And he shewed me a pure river of water as clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

2. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month, and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Universal Call to Partake of

Re. 22:17. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Compare to a...

Brook, Ps. 110.7; to a well, Is. 12:3,a fountain, Je. 2:13; a river, Eze. 47:5.

With these things practiced in our daily lives, humbly and with forgiveness always ready to be given (and received!), we believers are then CHRISTLIKE (cleansed and purged of the old, sinful leaven of the carnal self-life & worldly views and worldly mindset) and become Open Channels for the Grace of Jesus Christ to flow unimpeded out to all those who are dying for lack of Christ's free grace. Instead of sewers spewing out the filth and pollution of the fallen world ruled by the prince of darkness, we become life-giving vessels and channels of the Lord's water of life.

We can dispense THE WATER OF LIFE to those thirsting and perishing in this dying world before Christ's Return, so they will be saved, restored, given new life and a future and a hope even as we have.
