Papa asked me to go weed in the popcorn field. The cobs were getting ripe and ready for the harvesting. I was hoeing when I saw a cob on a stalk of corn which had already popped out. It was a hot day, and evidently that had done it. It had popped! So God provided me a surprise treat, a popcorn to cheer me up on my day in the field hoeing the weeds!
