It is the tragic weakness of many Christians that prayer is unknown in their lives. As followers of Christ we are engaged in bitter warfare against godlessness,a nd we desperately need prayer. On no subject was Christ more explicit. Prayer is the very breath of religion, its most essential and characteristic expression. A prayer-less Christian is a contradiction in terms.
