I mentioned Goshen in the dream. (Exodus chapters 7-12) I do believe there will be physical Goshens/places of refuge. But more importantly, we must understand how to walk in spiritual Goshen, which is being hid in Christ and walking in the provisions of the New Covenant. I believe the natural Goshens come about by walking in the spiritual Goshen (New Covenant). Walking in the New Covenant must be foremost of importance. As I tell people, you can hide away in some mountain retreat, away from all crime and have years of food, but you can’t hide from demons and disease. That is only done through being hid in Christ, understanding the New Covenant, and walking it out by faith. I don’t know how to stress the urgency I feel towards this. Most of what we see happening in America today I saw many years ago and warned many people I knew. Those who acted have done well; but unfortunately, most didn’t act and are now in a dire situation, or have lost much in the process. I do believe in natural preparation, but without the spiritual first I think there will be deception, fear, excess, bad planning, and self-centeredness instead of being focused on Jesus and others. Some people say, “Don’t say those things! You will make people fearful.” But as a comparison, in the physical realm I would want to know if there is a cold front (storm) coming. It may be stressful getting ready, but it would be much more stressful if I didn’t know about it, and water pipes froze, or I didn’t have anti-freeze in the car, or feed for the livestock.
I’m not sure what you believe about these things, but I believe that there are things we can take dominion over and change; there are also things that will not change until believers in a nation repent and turn back to God in obedience; and finally, there are things that get set in place. I think of Agabus prophesying the famine in Jerusalem in Acts 11, and how the believers sent relief. It was going to happen, so they prepared. I think of Jesus prophesying the destruction of Jerusalem which took place in A.D. 70. I think of Manassah: his sin/rebellion/shedding of innocent blood set in motion the Babylonian invasion after Josiah. I do see how sin and rebellion leads up to these things; in other words, “reaping what you sow”. There comes a time when that’s it. Just like when we discipline our children, at a point there are no more warnings, discipline is coming. There is such a disrespect for God’s Word and lack of the fear of God even amongst His people. The principles of God’s Word and provision of His kingdom are not accessed by the world’s ways. His ways look foolish to man. Christians have become so secularized and intellectual in the world’s ways that they have little faith. The principles of God’s Word seem foolish to them, so they reason it out and don’t act on it. In order for us to be solid in the days ahead, we must be doers of Jesus’ Words and have our house built upon the Rock.--Robert Krebs
